KS2 Learning Support Assistant with class cover
Required: Immediately/ASAP
Scale 3/4 point 4 - 7 plus enhancement for class cover.
Salary range £18,933 - £20,092 (actual salary £11,464 - £12,165)
Monday - Friday 8.45am - 3.15pm term time only plus inset days. 26 hours 15 minutes per week.
The HERA Primary Academy Trust is seeking to recruit an experienced Learning Support Assistant to work in Year 5 & 6 at Lawford Mead Primary & Nursery School. The person appointed to this post will support children and teachers in class, run interventions and occasionally cover classes during teacher absence or release time.
The school is looking for someone with:
• a passion for children's learning and their wellbeing
• experience as a LSA/teaching assistant, preferably within Key Stage 2
• experience covering classes (preferable)
• experience running 1:1 and small group interventions (preferable)
• solid subject knowledge in English and maths
• the ability to work effectively in a team
