Edith Borthwick School requires a self-motivated, reliable, multi-skilled, proactive and organised person to assist the Caretaker.
Assistant Caretaker required for 25 hours per week. Term time only, 5 non-pupil days plus 5 weeks during school closure periods to cover Caretaker absence. This position does require the securing of the premises at the end of the day.
The main duties of this job include security, cleaning, maintenance of the inside and outside environment, liaising with contractors and other duties directed by the Caretaker as required. Qualifications or experience in a trade is desirable.
It is essential that you can work effectively as part of a team and you should be able to relate well to students and interact with them in a friendly and positive manner.
