Due to increasing numbers, Prince Avenue Academy and Nursery is delighted to invite you to apply to join
our fantastic team as a nursery nurse. A brand new £800,000 building has been built and we are expanding
our current nursery provision. We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring and dynamic person to work with our
2 year olds or our 3/4 year olds. Please make it clear on your application which room your expertise suits.
As a nursery nurse, you will support the room leader in the planning and delivery of the early years framework,
creating a stimulating and rich learning environment to support the development needs of all our pupils. You
will act as a key worker for a group of children and work as part of a team to ensure our brand new nursery
becomes a hub at the heart of our community.
You will be supported by an excellent group of nursery practitioners and senior leaders from the school and
will have opportunities to establish positive relationships with school leaders to ensure that the vision and
ethos of Prince Avenue is shared across this wonderful new setting. You will work closely with the Inclusion
and Pastoral Manager and our local Children's Centre to support families within our community.

Prince Avenue Academy and Nursery is a two form entry primary school with a 52 place nursery. Occupying a large site close to the A127 with extensive grounds and facilities, we are part of the South East Essex Academy Trust (SEEAT).

Prince Avenue Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children. Appointments are subject to satisfactory references, medical clearance and an enhanced DBS. All members of staff are required to complete a Childcare Disqualification Declaration.
