Learning Support Assistant
Scale 3
Term time only, 5 days a week, 08.45am - 15.15pm
To commence January 2022
Maylandsea Primary School is part of The Eveleigh LINK Academy Trust and is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, reliable and capable learning support assistant. You will be joining a team of hard working, friendly and adaptable LSAs working under the direction of class teachers supporting in lessons and running interventions.
Applicants should also be confident and sufficiently experienced to cover classes occasionally when the class teacher is absent, due to PPA time, course attendance or sickness. Together with the above attributes, a good standard of English and mathematics is required.
Suitable candidates will need to be able to work as part of a team and able to liaise with other members of staff. The successful applicant will be organised with good communication skills, able to demonstrate initiative and flexibility, and understand the professional nature of the role.
Qualifications: good numeracy and literacy skills - (minimum grade C in Maths and English GCSE or equivalent).
