Wishes to appoint a
Learning Support Assistant
Salary: Band A Point 1 - 6
(£12,670.52 to £13,987.39 per annum)
30 hours per week
Monday to Friday - 8.10am to 3.10pm (one hour unpaid lunch)
38 weeks of the year - term time plus inset days
Start Date: ASAP
Thames Park Secondary School is the newest secondary school within Osborne Co-operative Academy Trust. We opened our doors to our founding Year 7 pupils in September 2020 and will be increasing to five year groups by 2024. We have a strong focus on digital education running throughout our curriculum and are passionate about making our learning both exciting and memorable.
We wish to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Learning Support Assistant with the appropriate skills and qualities to work with and support pupils with learning, emotional and behavioural difficulties.
The ideal candidate will have:
· English and Maths GCSE (A to C grade).
· Experience in a similar role, working with pupils who have a wide variety of learning needs.
· Good ICT, communication and organisational skills.
· Patience, flexibility and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
These are exciting times for us and this role is central to the school's mission in providing an education which prepares pupils for the future. On the near horizon, the school will move to its brand-new purpose built state of the art facilities in September 2022.
