The Governing Board are seeking a full time (term time only) Administration Assistant to work in the school office and be responsible for school events management, PR and communication.

Your opportunity

This is an exciting position, which will support the development of school systems and procedures and support our vision to develop effective communication and PR systems for the school. The position would be based in the school office, working within the administration team, and liaising with staff, pupils, parents, visitors and members of our Trust. We would welcome applications from experienced administration assistants who have worked in a busy school office or similar environment.

The successful candidate will be knowledgeable about and experienced in administrative processes and procedures for busy schools. We are looking for someone who is organised, works well to deadlines, creative and passionate about our school. We would like to seek a friendly individual who:

· Has experience working in a busy school office or a similar environment, managing the needs of our school community

· Has excellent communication and people skills

· Has excellent ICT skills

· Has experience in implementing effective systems and procedures

· Has experience in communication, PR and/or events management

· Is organised, tidy and can work to strict deadlines

Welcome to our school! The Alderton Junior School is a 2 form entry Junior School for pupils between the ages of 7 to 11 years. We are a forward-thinking school, working in collaboration with 15 other local schools as part of the Epping Forest Schools Multi-Academy Trust. We share our site with The Alderton Infant School, with whom we share our values and work very closely. We are situated in Loughton, Essex, close to transport links into Central London but with the countryside, community feel of the Epping Forest Area.

We are part of The Epping Forest Schools Partnership Trust, a Multi-Academy Trust of fifteen Primary and one Special School all based in the Epping Forest District. Along with our SCITT (School-Centred Initial Teacher Training), School Improvement Team, Well-being Service and Resourced Provisions based in three of our schools, we are a leading educational organisation in Epping Forest.
