CATCH-UP PROGRESS MENTOR

RequiredASAP - Fixed Term Contract until 21st July 2022

Scale 6-11 - Actual salary £14,448 to £15,906 per annum

Including Fringe, depending on experience

31 hours 40 minutes per week. Term time only (38 weeks)

Monday to Friday 8.20am to 3.10pm

Are you considering training to become a teacher or looking to pursue a career in education? Are you a graduate with excellent numeracy skills or have you recently taken A Levels and taken a gap year?

We are looking for a dynamic, well-qualified and committed catch-up mentor in English.

The successful candidates will support the attainment and progress of students across Years 7-11 helping them bridge the gaps in learning created by the school closure period earlier in 2020. The role will include, one to one teaching, small group work and supporting students/teachers in lessons when appropriate.

This post will provide an ideal opportunity for you to gain experience working within a school and to develop the skills you will need for the next stage of your career.

You must have a confident approach to working with young people as well a conscientious and flexible attitude to work.
