Library Assistant

Scale 5 Point 8-11

Part-time - Thursday and Friday from 8am to 4pm

15 hours per week (half an hour for lunch), term time plus 2 inset days plus 2 days holiday working

£20,493 to £21,748 pro rata plus £626 Outer London fringe allowance

Actual salary £7,488 to £7,933

Required as soon as possible - a library assistant to join our successful library team.

The role will involve supporting the team in the library with the operational administration of school library systems, processes, and procedures. It is a varied and rewarding role in a busy department.

Supporting students and staff is an essential part of the job so good communication skills are essential.

A flexible, calm, approachable and professional manner with a 'can do' outlook is essential.

The successful candidate will:

· Have excellent organisational and inter-personal skills

· Strong administrative skills

· Have previous experience working with schools
