As part of the Rayleigh Schools Trust, Glebe Primary School is seeking to appoint a resilient, effective and dedicated SEND Learning Support Assistant for 25 hours per week. The post is for 38 weeks per year. Monday to Friday 9:00am to 3:00pm

We are looking for an enthusiastic LSA to join our friendly, caring and supportive team on a permanent basis. This role will includes supporting in class, working with small groups delivering a range of interventions and working with pupils with SEND on a 1:1 basis.

The successful candidate will need to have:

  • Experience in supporting teaching and learning, ideally within a school environment
  • Knowledge and experience of the National Curriculum
  • A positive and proactive approach
  • The ability to work successfully as part of a team
  • High expectations for all pupils
  • Understanding of a range of SEND

Applicants who have at least NVQ Level 2 in learning support, or equivalent qualifications, will be shortlisted and contacted for interview.
