Learning Support Assistant
Required to support a child with challenging behaviour, 1:1 and also provide support to small groups of pupils
South Green Junior School values its Learning Support Assistants, providing high quality professional development with opportunities to extend the role and responsibilities within the school.
Our Learning Support Assistants have the highest professional standards in order to provide the very best progress and attainment for our children.
You will have:
· GCSE Maths/English or equivalent
· Experience of working with children who have SEND, who display challenging behaviour, in an educational setting
· Experience of adapting the curriculum for pupils with SEND.
· Experience of preparing special materials and resources.
· A strong work ethic.
Hours are 8.45 a.m. - 3.30 p.m. (term time only, with selected INSET days tbc) Monday to Friday inclusive and some lunchtime duties.
