We are seeking a passionate, organised, and highly motivated Catering Manager who can manage the Catering Service for our two school kitchens.
This post is for30 hours a week, Monday to Friday, term time, plus non pupil days, plus 1 week (work total 40 weeks per year)
The Role:
The successful candidate should be an experienced Catering Manager, trained to Level 3 Food Safety or NVQ equivalent, who is able to lead a team of six to provide an efficient catering service for our School.
The successful candidate will:
- Have the ability to prepare, cook and serve for 300+ healthy school meals every day
- Provide excellent customer service
- Understand the importance of providing healthy, nourishing meals for our children
- Place orders
- Complete food safety records and monthly stock counts
- Understand budget control

Information about the School
In September 2018, Brightlingsea Infant School & Nursery and Brightlingsea Junior School became Brightlingsea Primary School and Nursery. We are a large Primary School, taking children from 2 to 11 years, with a three form entry and approximately 750 children on roll. This is an exciting time for our school and we are looking to further improve outcomes for our children and families.
