SEN Learning Support Assistant
2020 Scale 3 (Point 5) £19,312 pa fte
Hours: 23.5 hours per week (plus 30 mins planning)
Required: September 2021 Fixed term 1 year
We are looking to appoint a 1:1 SEN Learning Support Assistant to provide individual support to a pupil in Upper KS2 with complex needs. Experience of working with children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder or Speech/Language communication needs is desirable.
The successful candidate will need to have:
· excellent communication skills
· experience of working with children
· GCSE or equivalent in English and Mathematics
· an understanding of children with complex needs
· a clear commitment to the safeguarding of all children
The hours allocated are 23.5 hours (plus 30 mins planning) Monday to Friday.
Visits to the school are welcomed and encouraged.
