Learning Support Assistant

Pay Range: Scale 3 (£18,933-£19,312) (plus £898 Inner Fringe) pro rata

We are seeking to appoint an experienced, nurturing and flexible Learning Support Assistant to join our committed team. Responsibilities will include:

  • Provide support and guidance to pupils in ensuring their learning, social, emotional mental health needs are supported in order to meet their full potential
  • To work under the direction of our Inclusion Leader, implementing individual and small group interventions.

The successful candidate must have Key Stage 2 and positive behaviour management experience. In addition, we expect that the successful candidate will have a recognised NVQ in Teaching and Learning in Schools or proven equivalent experience, as well as GCSE grade C or Level 2 equivalent in Maths and English. They must also have the relevant safeguarding training. Please note that only applicants with the relevant experience will be considered for the post.

This is a permanent contract. 28.75 hours per week, 5 days a week, 8:45am-3:00pm, with a 30-minute lunch break. However, hours may be slightly different initially to support staggered start times due to Covid.
