Catering Manager
Pay range: Scale 6 (12-17) £22,183 - £24,491 fte
Hours: 25 hours per week Monday to Friday
Term time plus inset days (39 weeks per year)
Required: 1 September 2021
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, passionate and experienced Catering Manager to lead our busy kitchen in the daily preparation of fresh home cooked food. We serve approximately 250 meals per day including meals for primary and pre school children.
The successful applicant must be trained to Level 3 Food Safety or equivalent qualification. You must have experience of working in a kitchen environment and will be responsible for planning a balanced, nutritious menu, organising theme days, ordering, stock and budget management, line manage the kitchen staff and ensure compliance with food standards and food hygiene regulations.
This role is supported with the expertise of a School Food Safety advisor.
