Trust Central Team - Finance Assistant

Scale 3 Points 4-5

£18933 -£19312 pro rata (£12,792 - £13,038pa)

25 hours per week

Monday to Friday

52.14 weeks per year

Place of work: Trust Central Office, Waterhouse Business Centre, Cromar Way, Chelmsford CM1 2QE

This is an exciting opportunity for a well organised, motivated person to join our new Trust central finance team. The successful candidate should be a reliable, approachable and friendly person with excellent financial, administrative and interpersonal skills. They must be organised and able to work calmly under pressure and must have a good sense of humour. Strong communication skills both written and verbal are essential.

The successful candidate will:

- have excellent numeracy, organisational and inter-personal skills

- have a high degree of accuracy and excellent attention to detail

- have an understanding of financial processes.

- be flexible and able to use initiative and prioritise workload

- have experience of general administration processes

- previous experience of using school based finance systems is desirable but not essential

The Chelmsford Learning Partnership (CLP) is an emerging multi-academy trust based in Springfield, Chelmsford. The trust was formerly known as The Boswells Academy Trust but changed name in late 2017 to reflect the growth of the trust beyond one school. There are currently 8 schools across Essex in the CLP multi academy trust.

The schools in the CLP are: Barnes Farm Infant School, Barnes Farm Junior School, Lakelands Primary School, Perryfields Infant School, Roding Valley High School, The Beaulieu Park School, The Boswells School and The Tyrrells Primary School.
