Job Title: Teacher Science (Biology and Chemistry)
Salary: Unqualified up to £30,527,
Qualified* up to £38,534 per annum

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented Biology/Chemistry teacher to work within the Science team, who will be able to play a key role in the preparation, planning and delivery of learning and co-ordinating formal assessments for students studying science-based programmes. The Science team deliver a range of programmes, including both vocational and A level qualifications. We currently offer programmes at Level 2 and level 3, but are in the process of plan the introduction of a Level 4 science qualification in the next year.
What we are looking for
We are looking for someone with a qualification to a minimum of degree level in Biology and/or Chemistry (or equivalent), who is able to confidently deliver high quality sessions in either Biology or Chemistry on Level 3 programmes, with the ability to teach at Level 4 an advantage. As a creative and pro-active professional you'll be expected to use a range of effective and appropriate teaching and learning initiatives that engage, motivate and enable all learners to develop and succeed, as well as maximising student potential.
