We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, passionate and inspiring teacher to join our Key Stage 2 team.

We are looking for a skilled classroom teacher who has high expectations and aspirations for every child's behaviour, well-being, attainment and progress.

Quilters Junior School and Quilters Infant School comprise the Quilters Federation. We are very proud that both of our schools and teams have been recognized by OFSTED as outstanding schools. Our schools are happy places for pupils, families and staff - staff turnover is very low.

Our children have a great appetite for learning which enables our teachers and support staff to plan and teach in an exciting way. We are lucky to have very supportive parents and governors who place a high value on education.

Due to the current situation with COVID-19, visits to the school are not possible during the school day. However, we may be able to accommodate a visit outside of the school day, subject to social distancing requirements. If you would like further information about the role or would like to discuss the position with our Headteacher, Mike Wade, please phone the school office or email admin@quilters-jun.essex.sch.uk and we can arrange this for you.

Please make all applications online via the Essex Schools Jobs website. (Please note that we do not accept CVs.)

Quilters Federation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This appointment is subject to safer recruitment procedures, including an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references and medical clearance.

All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of children and young people. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.
