We are looking for enthusiastic, flexible and hard-working people to join our experienced and friendly learning support staff.
You will need stamina, creativity and commitment. We require proactive team workers who are flexible, positive and resilient.
This is a great opportunity to develop skills working with SEN pupils with moderate learning difficulties (MLD) and complex needs pupils in a welcoming special school setting. You may be expected to work across a range of age groups from Key Stage 1-4 and with individual pupils or classes with different medical, social and learning needs to support across the curriculum, in and out of class. Experience working with pupils with visual impairment, complex ASD, SLD or SEMH needs an advantage.
Applicants must have English and maths, at least GCSE grade C or equivalent.

Information about the School
Kingswode Hoe is a special school for pupils with complex learning difficulties. We take pupils aged between 5 and 16 (Y1 - Y11) living in the Colchester area. All pupils are admitted to the school by the Statutory Assessment team of Essex Local Authority based at Essex House in Colchester. We are currently funded for 151 places.
