CHANGE Schools Partnership is a Multi-academy Trust formed of three primary schools and one junior school.
We are looking to appoint up to two Clerks to Governors to provide professional clerking services to these schools, which are based in Clacton-on-Sea and Braintree, Essex.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join an established governance support team. It will require a flexible working arrangement around a calendar of scheduled meetings, supporting the Headteacher and the appointed Governing Body in the delivery of governance policy, whilst taking instruction from and working closely with the Trust Governance Manager.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, be able to work independently and organise their own time, whilst working to strict deadlines. The role will include providing effective administrative support to the Governance Manager and the designated Local Governing Body.
Previous experience in an administrative support role is desirable, however we are keen to appoint the right candidate to this post and therefore professional training will be provided.
Working hours will be on a flexible basis, estimated to be approximately 18 hours per term per school/hub, based on 3 Governing Body meetings and includes time allowed for meeting administration and consultation with the Governance Manager. Please note: The majority of meetings are held in the evenings.
For more information about the role, please contact the Governance Manager via email: firstname.lastname@example.org
CHANGE Schools Partnership is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our pupils and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All our posts are subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure, two work references and other employment checks.
