Langenhoe Community Primary School is seeking to appoint an experienced Catering Manager.
This post is for 26.50 hours a week, Monday to Friday, term time, plus non pupil days, plus 1 week (work total 40 weeks per year)
Actual gross annual salary from £13,006 to £13,802 Scale 5 Points range 8 - 11
Do you enjoy cooking healthy nutritious meals from scratch? Do you have a passion for being a key player in the education of children? Do you have what it takes to lead a school kitchen?
The Role:
You will be leading a team of 2 both of which have vital roles within the kitchen. You will be responsible for the day to day running of the kitchen including all daily checks, stock rotation, ordering etc. along with monthly stocktakes
Previous experience in a restaurant or school kitchen management is desirable. Knowledge of preparing healthy, balanced meals from scratch is a must. Managing a budget and completing stock takes is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided as a part of our commitment to staff development.
