REQUIRED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE A LUNCHTIME PLAY LEADER
We are looking to appoint a Play Leader to join our fantastic lunchtime team.
Typically hours could be between 11.30 a.m. to 1.55 p.m. to cover our staggered lunch breaks at present due to the COVID restrictions.
Our Play Leaders spend their time supervising our children, ensuring they have a safe and fun playtime. You will be responsible for organising games and other activities to keep the children occupied and engaged throughout their time outside (or inside in the event of bad weather). You will support the effective operation of the team by demonstrating flexibility and co-operation.
This is a key role within school so the successful candidates must have a nurturing, positive attitude, be reliable and conscientious with a sense of fun, and be willing to promote the school's behaviour policy and social skills during the lunchtime period.
Ideally you must hold a qualified First Aid Certificate, but training will be provided for the successful candidate and recent working with children would be preferable.
This is a Thurrock Band A post (Points 1 to 5) approximately £9.43 - £10.19 per hour as applicable depending on qualifications and experience.
Our School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and we expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
All Appointments are subject to satisfactory medical check, references and an enhanced DBS clearance.
Please download the Tudor Court Application Form available from this website and return via email to Lorraine Ruck email@example.com
For a full Application Pack including details of which documents must accompany your application please email our Office Manager as per the details above.
When contacting us please include some information about yourself, relevant qualifications, along with details of any recent experience you have working with children
The application deadline is Friday 16th April at 12 Noon
Successful candidates will be notified of an interview date once shortlisting has taken place.
Interviews will take place on Thursday 22nd April - please ensure you are available on this day should you be shortlisted.
COME AND JOIN OUR FANTASTIC TEAM…
We look forward to hearing from you.
Information about the School

Since September 2016 we have in excess of 890 children on roll including the younger children in our on-site Nursery.
Since September 2011 we have admitted four classes of children into Reception along with 100 (in total) children into our morning and afternoon Nursery classes.
At the present time we have four forms of entry throughout school excluding Year 6. We will therefore continue to expand in September 2017 to accommodate four classes in this year group, however the accommodation for these classes is already in place.
