We are seeking a highly-motivated, enthusiastic and flexible administrative assistant for our friendly, busy school. As an initial point of contact for parents, pupils, staff and visitors, you will need to have excellent communication skills, use discretion and initiative and be able to prioritise tasks. You will need to have good computer skills including Word, Excel, internet and e-mail. Whilst knowledge of the SIMS database software would be an advantage, training will be provided. Specific duties include monitoring attendance, collation of dinner numbers and money, arranging educational visits, liaising with club providers, dealing with first aid, opening post, filing and assisting with the smooth running of the school.
This is a part-time position for 22 ½ hours a week, term times only (Weds, Thurs, Fri: 8.30am - 4.30pm with 30 minute lunch break) and duties are shared with our second Admin Assistant who covers the first half of the week.
