Teaching Assistant
Fixed Term Contract for the Spring Term
Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30 p.m. to 3 p.m. Term Time
Salary: Scale 3
Closing Date: Thursday 4th March 2021 12 p.m.
Potential Interview Date: Thursday 11th March
Start Date: 12th April 2021
Are you an experienced, enthusiastic and proactive teaching assistant? Come and join our small, friendly and happy team as we strive to do the very best for our 102 enthusiastic, well-mannered children. This role involves classroom support, small group work and for suitably qualified candidates there may be the opportunity for some whole class teaching.
You will need to:
· Have excellent verbal and communication skills with minimum grade C Mathematics and English GCSE or equivalent
· Experience of working in a similar setting
· Be a positive team player with a good sense of humour
· Be able to work within the Christian ethos of the school
The post, will be in our mixed Year 5/6 class so experience of the primary curriculum for this age group would be an advantage as would a first aid certificate.
Visits to our school are normally warmly welcomed, but in the current climate, this is not possible. Interviews will need to take place via video-conference.
