Teaching Assistant - Interventions and Support
Scale 3 point 4 £18,933 plus outer fringe allowance £626 - Pro rata: £10,975
25 hours per week term time only starting as soon as possible.
We are seeking to appoint a well-organised, enthusiastic individual to join our Faculty of Learning Support. We are expanding the Faculty to help with supporting students to catch up after the period of lockdown earlier in the year and the continuing disruption to education because of the Covid19 pandemic.
We would be particularly interested to receive applications from candidates with an interest in supporting students with numeracy. The successful candidate will play an important part in ensuring the progress, development and welfare of all students with identified SEND needs.
Shenfield High School retained its "GOOD" Ofsted rating in November 2018. We are a co-educational 11-18 academy school with a commitment to high standards, a holistic approach, student wellbeing and learning for life. We expect all staff to share this philosophy.
Shenfield is conveniently and pleasantly situated close to Shenfield mainline station to London Liverpool Street - and what will be the eastern terminus of Crossrail's Elizabeth Line - the towns of Brentwood and Billericay and to the Essex countryside.
The Governing Body is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share in this commitment. This appointment is subject to an enhanced Disclosure check and positive references.
