DEPUTY HEAD (Primary)
Leadership Range L9-13 (£51,402-£56,721)
Full time - Permanent
Required from September 2021
The Beaulieu Park School is a welcoming, vibrant and inclusive all-through school in Chelmsford, Essex. We are a relatively new school and as we look to welcome our oldest students in the primary phase into Year 3, we are excited to expand our leadership team. The primary phase of our school is 2-form entry and in September we will have 240 students. Beaulieu is an extremely popular, heavily oversubscribed school.
We would like to appoint a teacher with a proven track record of outstanding classroom practice across the key stages and someone that will champion our core values across the school community. We are seeking an ambitious and energetic professional with experience of leading teams, monitoring teaching and learning across the school, as well as a track record of successfully leading improvement and raising standards. The role will also involve a regular part-time teaching commitment (full-time for the first term).
Although the position is for a Deputy in the primary phase of the school, you will be expected to work alongside our secondary colleagues and embrace the opportunities that being part of an all-though school brings. In addition to this, you will work alongside colleagues across the Chelmsford Learning Partnership to improve outcomes for all students across our 8 trust schools.
If you are a dynamic and inspirational leader with the capacity to grow and develop in the role, if you have initiative, enthusiasm, and a strong understanding and interest in pedagogy and research across all phases of the primary school, as well as the ambition to play a major role in the leadership and management of our school then we would love to hear from you.
Unfortunately, we are unable to host visits to the school but if you wish to contact us to discuss the role further, please contact Kelly Koller - Head of the primary phase via email kkoller@beaulieuparkschool.com, and we will arrange a suitable time to discuss the role. In addition to this, you will find lots of information, including a virtual tour, on the website.
Closing date: Wednesday 17th February at 12 noon. Please email applications and supporting documents to kkoller@beaulieuparkschool.com
Interviews will take place week beginning 22nd February 2021
