Due to retirement after a long and distinguished career, Alpha Trust is looking to appoint a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Director of Operations based at Colchester County High School for Girls (CCHSG) to begin employment in April 2021, or as soon as possible to this date for the ideal candidate.
The CFO is a key member of the Trust's Senior Leadership Team and is expected to bring an up-to-date approach to the leadership of the financial function, running it as a highly competent and efficient service. The role includes being Director of Operations based at CCHSG which is a senior leadership position within the School and the Trust.

The successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced criminal record check by the DBS.

Information about the School
Colchester County High School for Girls is part of Alpha Trust. It is a selective state school for academically able students aged from 11 to 18 years which consistently achieves public examination results at the highest level and Ofsted "Outstanding". Admission to the school is via the 11+ examination in Year 7; the school also admits academic students into the Sixth Form. The school is lead for the North East Essex Teaching School Alliance and Colchester Teacher Training Consortium is based on the site. Situated a mile to the west of central Colchester, the school is set in its own extensive grounds on a large, quiet campus.
