About the team
The programmes that the IT team deliver are Btec Level 2 and 3 in Information Technology. Going forward we will be running the NCFE T level in Infrastructure starting September 2021.
About the role
As a an enthusiastic and talented teacher you will deliver IT courses at Level 2/3 and above to 16-18 year olds as well as mature students. To be delivered to the highest standards using a range of effective and appropriate teaching and learning initiatives that engage, motivate and enable all learners of all abilities to make significant progress from their starting points. You will also be working to address individual learning needs, overcome barriers to learning and encourage autonomous learning.
What we are looking for
The successful candidate will ideally have knowledge of , industry experience or be able to offer expertise in one or more of the following areas; Programming, Information Technology, Creating Systems to Manage Information, IT Project Management, Cyber Security and Incident Management, IT Services, Data Modelling, Website Development, Mobile Apps Development, Computer Games and development, Big data and Business Analytics, Software testing, Cloud Storage and Collaboration tools, Digital 2D and 3 D modelling, Digital Animation and effects, The internet of Things, Enterprise in IT and Business Process Modelling Tools.
A degree in Information Technology is essential as well as the willingness to undertake a teaching qualification if not already achieved.
