We are looking for a Caretaker to join our friendly site team to work alongside our Site Manager, to help keep our brand new site sparkling clean and well maintanined.

The ideal candidate is someone that takes pride in their work, is thorough, yet fast paced, is approachable, flexible and has a can do attitude! We need someone that is practical and hands on and works well on their own and as part of a team. You will need to be able to manage a varied workload and be able to prioritise efficently to make sure the school site remains safe and functional.

Ideally you will have a category D1 driving license, as management and minor maintenance of our school mini buses are part of the role. Experience of maintaining swimming pools also an advantage but not essential as training will be given.

37 hours per week 52 weeks per year Scale 3 (£18,933 actual salary).

Hours to be agreed but will involve locking and/or unlocking the school and will need to be flexible. (Hours to cover 6.30am - 8.00pm), You will also be required to be on call in the event of alarm call outs.

Lexden Springs is an inspiring school where no two days are ever the same (but a smile is always guaranteed!) which caters for pupils aged 3 - 19 who have a variety of severe learning difficulties, including some with autism and/or challenging behaviour and some with serious medical conditions.
