What we are looking for

We are looking for a dynamic and engaging person to join our team and to support the growth in our new 'Step Up' course. We are looking for someone who has experience of working with students with emotional, social and behavioural needs. We have a strong focus on developing our students' digital skills and learning as we are an Apple Distinguished college. Creativity in developing new ways of learning and coaching is therefore important to us. Our 'Step Up' course delivers the following areas listed below and we are keen to provide new vocational unit accreditation to prepare young people for their next stage of adulthood. Our aim is to support young people who are at risk of dropping out of education with small bite size qualifications to help build their confidence and self-esteem.

3. Mental Wellbeing

4. Emergency First Aid at Work

5. Food Hygiene

6. Driving Licence (apply for provisional, theory practice & test, 1 driving lesson)

7. Work Experience

8. Tutorial

9. Functional Skills Maths

10. Functional Skills English

11. Managing money

12. Preparing for a healthy lifestyle

13. Personal project

14. Teamwork skills

15. Customer service

16. Inter-personal & self-management skills

17. Participate in Exercise

18. Community project
