Trinity St Mary's C of E Primary School is a fantastic one form entry primary school in the heart of South Woodham Ferrers. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, friendly and effective Midday Assistant to join our school. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team, and promote positive behaviour.
Duties will include:
· supervise children in the lunch hall, classrooms and the playground
· prepare the dinner hall for lunch, serve and clear away afterwards
· encourage healthy eating
· administer first aid if required
· interact with children to encourage good social skills
· respect the need for confidentiality
Initially this role will be working with our upper KS2 children (Year 5 and 6) and will be for one hour per day during term time. However, when schools return to normal the role may change and the hours may increase by 15/20 minutes per day.
