Are you passionate about your subject/s and about how to engage young people so they achieve their very best? Are you ambitious and do you enjoy working with others to ensure the highest standards of teaching and learning in Business Studies?

We have an exciting opportunity for an excellent teacher to lead this significant subject area. Business Studies is taught at KS4 (GCSE and BTEC L2) and KS5 (A Level and Cambridge Technical L3). The successful candidate will be expected to teach across this age and ability range including A level and must have proven success across the key stages.

Subjects and departments are well resourced and you will have access to a range of exciting activities and trips. The successful candidate will want to bring their passion and enthusiasm for Business Studies to encourage, motivate and engage our students and continue to raise standards in these high performing subjects.

Staff morale is high at Great Baddow High School; we have an excellent induction programme and a commitment to professional development for all staff. All teaching staff are provided with a laptop.

Our oversubscribed school achieved a 'GOOD' rating in its Ofsted inspection in February 2017 and we have a commitment to supporting students in developing as well-rounded individuals as well as achieving their academic potential.

Great Baddow High School is a happy and successful 11-18 school benefitting from a large site and excellent specialist accommodation.

Our curriculum is broad and varied and provides opportunities for all learners to achieve; we pride ourselves on balancing modern approaches and technologies with traditional values.

A large proportion of our students stay on to join the sixth form and are joined by students from elsewhere. We have a very good sixth form centre and our sixth formers make a valuable contribution to the life of the school.
