Fairhouse Primary School has agreat opportunity for you to join our fantasticstaff team as an assistant headteacher with repsonibility for inclusion and senco. We are a well etablished two-form primary school in the heart of Basildon. We are one of seven schools that form the Berlesduna Academy Trust (www.berlesduna.co.uk), where the vision is to create and foster a culture of high aspiration, enjoyment for learning, academic success and lifelong skills amongst all pupils, regardless of their social, economic or cultural background. We are looking for a person who:
· is an outstanding classroom practitioner
· is a qualified Senco or an aspiring Senco looking to move into senior leadership
· has high expectations of the children and themselves
· has a passion for raising standards and attainment regardless of staring point or additional needs
· has an engaging teaching style which enthuses and motivates children to learn
· works well as part of a team
· will lead network and CPD meetings across the Trust
· has a commitment to improving and developing their own and other's practice
· has demonstrated their ability to lead others
· is an excellent role model for the staff and children within the school
