Assistant Principal
Salary in the Range: L11 £52,643 to L15 £57,986
Required for January 2021
The Governors of St Benedict's Catholic College are seeking to appoint exceptional, inspirational and innovative Assistant Principals.
The specific responsibilities of our Assistant Principals can be found in the job descriptions contained within the recruitment pack. We are currently appointing to our AP - Student Support role. To maintain the effective running of the college and to allow for professional development, these roles may be reassigned annually.
Ofsted inspected the college in November 2013 judging it to be good in all areas with some outstanding features. The section 48 inspection in April 2015 judged the college to be good overall, and outstanding in 2 categories. Short inspection in February 2018 confirmed the college remained good.
The post offers an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and ambitious leader with a commitment to raising standards to support the Principal moving the College forward to OUTSTANDING status.
The successful candidate must have a proven track record as an outstanding teacher and of raising standards. Ideally the successful candidate will be a practising Catholic.
