Learning Support Assistant: Maternity Cover
31 Hours per week
Term Time + Inset Days
The maximum term will be 9 months although this cannot be guaranteed and may be terminated at a different time upon the return to work of the employee or if the employee's employment terminates for whatever reason.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to cover maternity leave for one of our LSAs, from September 2020.
The successful candidate will need to be flexible and be prepared to assist pupils on an individual basis as well as in small groups or a classroom environment. A good level of English, Maths and ICT skills is essential.
The successful candidates will ideally have:-
Experience of supporting pupils with complex needs at Key Stages 3/ 4
A caring, patient nature
The ability to be flexible
The ability to work well within a team and independently

St Nicholas School is an academy special school, situated in Southend-on-Sea, which is part of the SEN Trust Southend. The school offers a quality, inclusive education for secondary aged students (11-16).
