Salary and range: Thurrock Band A, £9,289.09 - £10,254.53 (actual salary)
Working hours: 22.5 hours per week, 08:00am - 12:30pm Monday - Friday
43.8 weeks per year, term time only.
(Two week October half term)
Start date: September 2020
We have an exciting opportunity for a Technicianto join our new school. Thames Park Secondary School is a brand new free school that will be opening in Grays, Essex in September 2020, initially year 7 intake only increasing to 5 year groups within 5 years. Thames Park Secondary School will be a member of Osborne Co-operative Academy Trust. All schools in the Trust work in equal partnership and are members of the Schools' Co-operative Society.
Thames Park Secondary School is seeking to appoint an efficient technician to support the Technology Department.
Your role will be to enable pupils' access to learning by providing technical advice and support in the practical and technical aspects of the curriculum by preparing, maintaining and organising equipment and materials.
The successful candidate should have:
- The ability to work in a team and be flexible and enthusiastic
- Excellent innovative and problem solving skills
- Experience of working with young people in an area related to this subject
