We are looking for a positive, flexible, compassionate person to join our friendly team at this new independent school for 12 pupils, which opened inSeptember 2019. We have exciting opportunities for an applicant who wishes to design and deliver tailor-made Maths and Science curriculums for small groups of children, overseeing a class and supervisingHLTAs. You will be responsible for a class / key group of 4-6 children and will teach Maths and Science to these small groups or on a one to one basis (along with other lessons as required). Lessons and activities will be at the school and around the local area, using specialist support teams for extra curricular activities and you will be required to transport and accompany children to and from these. Ownership and use of a car full time, as well as a full driving license, is therefore essential.

The successful applicants will need to have substantial recent experience teaching pupils with SEN, along with substantial experience teaching Maths and Science up to the end of Key Stage 4.

This is a great opportunity to develop skills in working with SEN pupils in a special school setting. A commitment to working as part of a team, being teachable, teaching / supporting others and to developing your own skills is essential.

Due to the current CoVID-19 situation, tours of the school are not possible due to social distancing limitations; therefore, please see our home-made video tour of the school on our website. First stage interviews will be held via ZOOM, with a secondary interview for selected candidates in person at the school under social distancing limitations. Interviews will be held the week beginning 1st June.
