Long Ridings Primary School: Site Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a Site Manager at Long Ridings Primary School
Salary: Scale 6
Hours: 37hours per week to be worked flexibly
Candidates must be able to work extra hours as required, for additional payment.
The successful candidate has the opportunity to take advantage of subsidised accommodation on site.
We are looking to appoint a highly motivated, adaptable and enthusiastic individual to join our friendly and hardworking team. Reliability and the ability to work on your own initiative are essential for the post, together with proven maintenance skills.
Duties will include minor and routine maintenance work, maintaining security of our site, general supervision of contractors, setting out the hall and rooms for specific functions, meetings etc. as agreed with the management team. Your role will also include daily cleaning of the school halls, reporting and /or responding to building maintenance issues and other matters as required. It is essential that you are able to comply with Health & Safety legislation, maintain records, carry out other manual tasks and work effectively as part of a team.
We would like you to have a friendly approach to the whole school community and uphold a professional manner at all times.
You will be required to undertake training to ensure compliance with current regulation of Heath and Safety within an education setting.
The successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS check, medical clearance and satisfactory references.

Long Ridings Primary School, a popular and thriving two-form entry primary school with 388 pupils. It is a great place to work.
