Information about the School
Stourview CofE Primary Academy is an exciting and forward-thinking primary school located in Mistley, Essex.
Formerly known as Mistley Norman, we are undergoing a significant transformation as part of the government's School Rebuilding Programme. While our state-of-the-art new building is under construction, our pupils are thriving in a modern modular facility that ensures continuity and quality in their education.
As part of our evolution, we recently joined Canonium Learning Trust, a dynamic and supportive education trust specialising in small, rural, and village schools across North and Mid Essex. This partnership strengthens our commitment to delivering exceptional education while fostering collaboration and professional development for our staff.
As a proud Church of England school, guided by the vision to educate for "life in all its fullness" (John 10:10), our school places equal importance on spiritual, physical, intellectual, emotional, moral, and social development. We aim to nurture knowledgeable, thoughtful, and articulate individuals equipped with the values and cultural capital to succeed in an ever-evolving world.
At Stourview, we are proud of our inclusive and welcoming community, underpinned by our core Christian values of respect, compassion, honesty, perseverance, and responsibility. Our ambitious vision, coupled with the support of Canonium Learning Trust, marks the start of an exciting new era for our school, staff, and pupils.
