CHANGE Schools Partnership is looking to recruit a Finance Manager to work across the Trust. This is a central role, based primarily at one of our schools in Braintree, Essex.
This is a great opportunity for an individual who has a strong background in school finance. The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of Finance and Operations and the central Business Team including HR Manager, Catering Manager and the Facilities Manager to ensureefficient and effectiveco-ordination of school financial management and financial control of key projects.
The successful candidate will have:
- Qualification/Good experience in school financial management and budgeting
- Experience of SIMS and PS Financials
- A working knowledge of appropriate MAT financial policies and procedures
- A positive 'can do' and a flexible attitude
- The ability to work collaboratively with others and work autonomously
- A good understanding of accruals and prepayments, payroll processing, VAT Returns and other key financial processes, in an educational environment
- A knowledge of schools' HR, Facilities/Premises and Grounds Management
