Learning Support Assistant (Maternity Cover)

Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our friendly school as a Learning Support Assistant for up to a year, to cover Maternity Leave. Someone who is able to Instruct Physical Education would be a great advantage. The successful candidates will be working in our thriving special school for pupils with moderate and complex needs in all Key Stages. A caring, enthusiastic, flexible nature combined with a sense of humour is required. Experience of pupils with special needs would be useful. English fluency is a requirement for this post.

The working pattern will be Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 8.50 to 3.05 and Tuesday 8.50 to 4.15, Term Time Only.

Visits will be available to shortlisted candidates.

Cedar Hall School is an innovative and forward looking all age (5-16) Special Foundation School, which provides education for pupils who primarily experience global, moderate learning difficulties, but may also experience a range of other needs such as autistic spectrum disorders and speech and language difficulties.
