We are looking for an outstanding EYFS teacher that has the drive and ambition to make a difference, to join our inspirational Reception team. At Benyon we believe that in every child's mind there is a fire to be kindled and as such we follow children's unique interests in a rich play-based environment. We are looking for a teacher who shares our passion for play, who is energetic, enthusiastic and dedicated to ensuring all children have the best start to their education. The successful candidate will join a supportive and reflective team who put children at the heart of everything they do. The desired teacher must have experience of working within the EYFS and be skilled in supporting pupils' learning through challenging play experiences.
If you have a fantastic knowledge and understanding of the Early Years curriculum and a real commitment to supporting every child in reaching their full potential through a varied, explorative curriculum, then we would love to hear from you.
The successful candidate will teach in Reception, alongside the EYFS Lead and Nursery Manager. We operate closely as an EYFS unit which consists of 2 reception classes and a 48 place nursery.

We are a one form entry primary school and nursery set in extensive grounds on the periphery of Ockendon Village. Our school is only a 3 minute walk from South Ockendon station which is on the C2C Fenchurch to Shoeburyness line and within easy reach (5 minutes) of the A13 and A127 into London/Southend and the Dartford Bridge.
