We are now recruiting for a Finance Assistant to start with immediate effect.
This is a part time position operating 3 days per week term time, plus one additional week.
The main focus of the position is to undertake all elements of school finance and to work closely with the Business Manager in preparing the schools annual budget and finance reporting to the governors. Please see the job specification for more detailed information regarding the position.
We are looking for a team player who can also assist the running of the general office undertaking reception duties at key times of the day (lunch cover) and also be proactive to help during busy periods.
Salary for this position is LGP Scale 7 pt 19 to 24, FTE £25,668 to £28,805, please note this is the full time equivalent salary, which needs to be pro rota to 3 days per week. You will also be auto-enrolled to the LGPS pension scheme and have many staff benefits as detailed on the school website.
Experience in working in school finance is desirable but not essential, however, it is essential applicants have experience in working in a financial environment with qualities and evidence linked to the job specification.
