Woodlands Schools Limited comprises independent preparatory schools and day nurseries at both Great Warley and Hutton Manor in Brentwood, providing an all-round education for children aged between 3 months and 11 years. We have a particular pride in our reputation for providing a happy and safe environment in which our pupils can achieve their full potential in their personal, social, spiritual and academic development.

We are seeking to appoint a professional, experienced and highly motivated individual to undertake part-time employment as our dedicated Fee Income Assistant responsible for all aspects of the Fee Income and Sales Ledger. Primarily, this involves the timely and accurate preparation of pupils' fee bills and the billing of all fees and extras, and front-line credit control and communication with parents over fee accounts. Full details are set out in the attached Job Description.

Our ideal candidate would have knowledge and experience of standard accounting procedures within Sales / Billing Ledger and experience in Credit Control and Debt Recovery. This will be ideal, but not necessarily, within a school or other educational environment. You must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel) and have a sound knowledge of using a database; ideally, but not necessarily, this would involve the use of WCBS.

Please apply in the first instance with a copy of your CV. Candidates selected for the short-list will be contacted and asked to fill in the Woodlands Schools' Application Form, which is a requirement of the Safer Recruitment Policy.

After review of the application forms, candidates will be selected for first round interviews. Applications should be completed and returned to Mrs Pauline Bones (Assistant Bursar) at Pauline.Bones@woodlandsschools.co.uk. If you have any questions or would like an informal discussion, please call Pauline Bones on 01277 245583.
