Class Teacher for September 2020, Permanent (MPS/UPS) position

We are looking to recruit a teacher for September 2020; this will be a permanent position.

Do you have a passion for teaching and learning? Are you happy to work within and support our Catholic ethos? Experienced teachers looking for steps into leadership or NQTs, if you've got the drive and passion we'd love to hear from you. Can you plan exciting, innovative and engaging lessons to mixed-age classes? Do you want to improve your practice at a school with a strong sense of community, excellent CPD and opportunities within a developing middle or senior leadership team? If so, then St Joseph's Catholic Primary School is the ideal place for you. We are a small school of just 116 pupils, split over 4 classes, so it's no wonder we're often told we are like one big happy family!

We are looking to appoint an innovative EYFS/KS1 or KS2 class teacher from September 2020 (we have the flexibility to potentially place an applicant in their desired year group). You'd need to bring a passion to the team…perhaps for Music, Arts, Computing, Maths or Science!

We enjoy partnership working and have strong links to our Catholic Deanery Cluster and Tendring Small School's Cluster.

Our children are enthusiastic learners who enjoy working together in a kind and caring community, they model excellent behaviour. The Catholic ethos of the school permeates everything we do and children and staff comment on how supportive and caring the whole school community is. If you want to work at a school where staff well-being is highly valued with additional time given weekly for subject leadership, where you will be encouraged to develop as a teacher, be able to take risks in planning innovative and exciting learning, which reflects your passion and interests, and be part of a high performing team, then please contact the school to organise a visit and we will warmly welcome you.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and as such, this post is subject to a successful enhanced disclosure check.

Please contact the school office for an application pack.

Closing Date: 21st April 2020

Interview Date: 27th April 2020

All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of children and young people. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.
