The Sandon School is an oversubscribed 11-18 mixed comprehensive of 1260 students with an excellent reputation in the local area. We have superb facilities and view ourselves as an innovative teaching and learning community. The school is situated close to the A12 on the east side of Chelmsford within easy reach of Chelmsford, Colchester, Southend and Brentwood and has good public transport links.
We require from September a well-qualified, enthusiastic female teacher of PE, with an ability to teach a wide range of sports across the curriculum, to join this successful, well-resourced department.
PE is taught across all the key stages, including GCSE, Vocational Health and Fitness and A level. A willingness to support extra-curricular activities is essential, ideally with a focus on netball and football.
