Dear Colleague,
We are delighted that you are considering coming to join our team. As you apply for our post we encourage you to come for an informal visit and a conversation with me or our Deputy Headteacher. We also suggest that you visit our website.
All our team work together to help children develop well in every way. This is reflected in all sorts of things including:
· Strong academic progress. For example, in Key Stage Two in 2019 our children made above expected progress in reading, well above expected progress in writing and average progress in mathematics.
· An exciting curriculum which offers children great learning opportunities in and out of school. This year, for instance, these opportunities include going to see ballet at the Royal Opera House, visiting Windsor Castle, local trips, building Stone Age shelters, cooking and eating Stone Age food and our art day.
· Our children's strong development in PE, supported by our Sports Coach
· The work of our pupil groups - School Council, Play Leaders, Prefects, Worship Leaders and Team Captains.
We are seeking to appoint a class teacher to come and join our friendly team and inspire our children. NQTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply. We provide all teachers with effective opportunities for professional development. If you come and join our team you will be joining one that works hard for the good of all our children and one that enjoys cake, chocolates and 'chippy Fridays'!
This post is for a September 2020 start and will be in Upper Key Stage Two for at least the first year. Salary will be paid according to appropriate experience and qualifications.
