Have you considered teaching or learning support as a career? This could be an opportunity for you to gain valuable experience whilst volunteering in a primary school which could support your application for a one year PGCE or Initial Teacher Training course.

Water Lane is a warm and welcoming one form entry primary school with excellent teaching and learning facilities. We are currently recruiting volunteers to work alongside class teachers and learning support staff to help accelerate the learning of our pupils. We are looking for candidates who are educated to degree level (or equivalent). This post may suit an individual who is seeking a career change and is considering sharing their specialism in a school environment.

We would also consider those who are in the process of completing their degree or have other relevant childcare/primary education qualifications.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
