Trust Operations Manager

£24,799 to £31,371 Pro Rata

25 hours per week by agreement, (38 weeks a year, term time)

plus up to 3 possible weeks by agreement during school holiday periods - 41 weeks in total

In the first instance this post is offered as a one-year contract

The Epping Forest Schools Partnership Trust is seeking a dynamic Operations Manager to support the CEO and Central Team in the smooth running of the Trust's central function and activities.

We are a Multi-Academy Trust of 15 Primary Schools and one Special School all based in the Epping Forest district. Along with our SCITT (School-Centred Initial Teacher Training), Teaching School and Family and Children Support Services, we are a leading educational organisation in Epping Forest. Formed in 2018, we are committed to collaborative working to ensure the best possible outcomes for our children and school communities.

Your responsibilities include:

· To act as liaison for Trust-wide contracts

· To oversee Health and Safety and Risk Management

· To oversee Compliance

· To oversee the Trust's Estates Strategy

Experience in these areas is desirable, but not essential; we are seeking a highly organised person who is proactive and solution focused. Where necessary, training in procurement best practice will be given to ensure economies of scale are achieved for all member schools in the Trust. This is a unique opportunity for the right person.

Essential skills: the ability to communicate with different audiences; and to influence and inform whilst motivating teamwork, collaboration and productive working relationships.The role will be based centrally; however, travelling between academies within the Trust is required.

Welcome to The Epping Forest Schools Partnership Trust, a Multi-Academy Trust of fifteen Primary and one Special School all based in the Epping Forest District. EFSPT was formed in 2018 from a consortium of schools that had worked together for over 20 years, and are committed to collaborative working to ensure the best possible outcomes for our children and school communities. EFSPT has a robust Governance Structure in place. In addition to the Board of Trustees and their associated committees, each Academy has its own Local Governing Committee supported by a Governance Professional. An annual cycle of meetings has been established and the responsibilities of each committee is detailed in the Trust Scheme of Delegation and the committee's Terms of Reference. EFSPT recognises the importance of strong Governance and our Trustees / Governors understand their roles in maintaining high standards throughout the Trust.
