Site Manager
Scales 4 and 5, points 6-11 £19,171-£21,166 Pro rata depending on experience (previously Band 3 - mid)
Required ASAP
52.14 weeks per year, 30 hours per week (23 days annual leave to be taken during school closures) across 5 days, Monday - Friday, but occasionally may include some evening and weekend work.
We are looking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and caring person to work as our Site Manager. This is a highly valued and responsible position and it is essential that the successful candidate can demonstrate:
A firm commitment to the school and its ethos
A flexible approach to their work and ability to work independently
General maintenance and caretaking skills
A good range of DIY skills for example decorating and plumbing
Good record keeping skills
A good standard of written English
Good ICT Skills
Ability to manage other staff and contractors
The successful candidate will be required to undertake:
Porterage and other manual duties
Some evening and weekend work
Locking and unlocking of premises and key holder responsibilities
Routine Health and Safety checks as required by legislation
Some Cleaning duties
Reporting to the Governing Body on premises matters
