We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative office manager to work in a small and friendly education team based in Rochford Hospital. We provide education for young people who are unable to attend their schools and colleges because of mental health difficulties.

You will manage a Band 2 part-time administrative assistant who assists in many of these duties. You will report directly to the Head of Education.

The ability to be flexible and a source of ingenious solutions for unusual problems is very desirable.

You will work 20 hours per week, school term time including 5 non-pupil days, which annualises out at 44.3 weeks per year. Hours can be arranged by mutual agreement though there will be one late day each fortnight for team meetings till 4.30.

We are looking to appoint for the start of the summer term (13/04/20) though earlier(towards the end of March) would be welcome.

All appointments are subject to safer recruitment requirements to ensure the safeguarding of children and young people. All positions will involve appropriate checks and clearances.
